M&E Consultant - Project Manager

Job Summary

·           Propose & agree the MEP design/system directions with MEP director/PD/AM/Operations, etc.

Responsibilities

·           Follow up with consultants and contractors on MEP design development, tendering and site implementation until handover.

·           Follow up and handle for MEP utility provision with relevant Government/Utilities Companies.

·           Work with other external parties/internal project team for better coordination and smooth work process.

·           Review & approve shop drawings and MEP technical/materials submissions from the contractors.

·           Handle all construction and site MEP works, in particular site coordination works and site technical issues.

·           Site quality/progress/safety, inspection and monitoring.

·           Review and monitor the test & commissioning processes and proper handover to Operations.

·           Review and monitor all retail/office tenancy MEP fit-out design and construction works.

·           Review and coordinate all retail/office/hotel/mixed-use/hospital/residential/schools/data centers, etc M&E system and ELV system design works.

Requirements

·           Either HVAC or Electrical professional background with more than 5 years working experience in international consultants or top tier developers.

·           With solid knowledge of HVAC, and MEP system for mix-used projects and operations.

·           With solid experience in hotel/retail/office/mixed-used, or EPC projects, preferred in Eastern China region and Shanghai, and experienced projects in Middle East or South Asia is a plus.

·           China registered engineer in the relevant discipline, Senior Engineer certification a plus or Overseas Professional qualification like Chartered Engineer or Registered Engineer. e.g. MCIBSE, MIEE, MIMechE, MHKIE, CEng, etc. is a plus.

·           Fluency in English and Mandarin in both written and oral is a plus.
