Job Summary

As the Assistant Director of Fabric Sourcing & Development, you will be pivotal in driving the fabric sourcing strategy for the cutting-edge Innovation and Product Development Centre in Wuxi, China. You will lead a team dedicated to sourcing, developing, and optimising fabric solutions, ensuring they align with the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal authority on fabrics, guiding fabric selection and development decisions.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise the sourcing network for fabrics, maximising efficiency and profitability.

• Establish effective pricing strategies.

• Lead cost-reduction initiatives to enhance profitability and business growth.

• Guide the sourcing and development team in fabric selection, product development, and production processes.

• Analyse customer feedback to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.

• Lead or participate in R&D activities to explore innovative fabric solutions and implement new technologies to optimise fabric sourcing and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Textiles or a related field.

• Extensive experience in fabric sourcing and development.

• Strong technical knowledge of fabric types, properties, and manufacturing processes.

• Proficiency in relevant software applications for fabric sourcing and development.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.
