General Manager / CEO - Financial Services

Responsibilities

Ÿ   Lead the full operation of the subsidiary and take accountability for business results and compliance.

Ÿ   Develop and execute commercial strategy in line with group direction.

Ÿ   Own the P&L, including budget management, cost control and KPI delivery within a matrix structure.

Ÿ   Lead a team of approximately eight direct reports and build a high-performance culture.

Ÿ   Drive business development and strengthen client and vendor relationships.

Ÿ   Oversee all key functions including risk, portfolio management, collections, legal, finance and IT.

Ÿ   Represent the subsidiary within the broader international group.

Ÿ   Embed a performance culture that reflects both German and Chinese business values.

Requirements

Ÿ   University degree or equivalent, preferably in economics, finance or business.

Ÿ   Ten or more years of experience in commercial lending and/or leasing.

Ÿ   At least three years of leadership experience in an international setting.

Ÿ   Proven experience managing a comparable business with full P&L responsibility.

Ÿ   Solid background across sales, credit, operations and portfolio management.

Ÿ   Fluent English. Chinese language skills are highly desirable.

Ÿ   Strong understanding of Chinese business culture.

Ÿ   Familiarity with German corporate culture and working practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Ÿ   Experience in a vendor finance or global vendor environment.

Ÿ   Background in a global bank or international financial institution.

Ÿ   Experience in middle to large-ticket end-user financing.

Ÿ   An existing professional network in China's financial services or asset finance sector.
